Department Pilots: Information & Materials

Beginning in mid-2007, a number of departments will be working with the Office of the Vice Provost for Faculty and Academic Affairs to pilot the implementation of the SLOs in their classes and programs.  The goals for the pilots include mapping their courses and then their major programs to the outcomes, developing a clear, ongoing assessment plan at the major level, and identifying faculty development/resource needs.

We have divided the work of the pilot departments into three phases. You can see a detailed flow diagram explaining the SLO project phases (for any department) here.
